Fantastic scenery and superb location to explore. Lovely well looked after cottage and grounds. Miss N, HITCHIN, Hertfordshire 25 July 2010
I would recommend the holiday to others. Barrmouth was lovely - good for anyone with children or pets - the beaches are fantastic - there is a small area with amusements but it is not overpowering. The grounds at the cottage we had "Tremafon" are a joy - beautiful pond, fairy wood and quiet secluded little seating areas everywhere so that you can enjoy the gardens to their best. The surrounding area is also beautiful. Portmeirion was well worth a visti and Harlech beaches go on for miles - lovely soft clean sands. The castle itself is majestic sitting at the highest point. We had a really lovely holiday. Mrs B, LONGNIDDRY, East Lothian 10 May 2010
Unique setting, fabulous grounds & owners very helpful & approachable. Afternoon tea on arrival unexpected & very welcoming - as was the bottle of wine! Directions off the main road could have been a bit clearer but good until that point - found it by sheer good luck but that added to the adventure! The garden is fabulous. Mr P, Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire 24 August 2009
I would recommend this holiday to people wanting to walk and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is good for dog owners. It is a lovely remote and relaxing location though there is Barmouth nearby if you want more facilities. MRS L, SHREWSBURY, SHROPSHIRE 26 July 2009
The best holiday cottage I have ever stayed in! The cottage was set in such an idyllic location - it was beautiful and the owners were so welcoming and helpful. I would love to go back again in the future! Mrs S, BARNET 14 July 2009
A lovely barn conversion in an outstandingly beautiful spot with very friendly owners. Especially suitable for dog owners as there is ample walking from the door and a big enclosed garden, not to mention a larger, less formal garden down to a small river. Mrs F, WIMBORNE 05 June 2009

This cottage is a wonderful hideaway. Magical gardens which the children played in for hours on end.Wonderful homecooked meal on arrival. I would highly recommend this cottage and i can't wait to return next year. Mr I, Coventry 02 August 2008
Barmouth is very nice and clean with a lovely beach. The cottage is in very quiet surroundings with private woods and lots of nice walks. A fantastic location, beautiful gardens and very friendly owners - we would liked to have stayed another week, or permanently! Mrs D, Sandbach, Cheshire 23 June 2007
